MAHINDRA UNIVERSITY - WHERE IT ALL STARTED

the start

During my exam season, I found myself getting bored while taking study breaks. I wanted to make something for my room that actually reflected my interests, so I asked my father for a subscription to a design software and started creating a few custom posters.

At that point, I had no intention of starting a business. The goal was simply to design something I would enjoy seeing on my own wall.

As I shared the designs with friends, people began asking where they could get them. That's when I realized there might be an opportunity.

I approached the university stationery store with the idea of setting up a small poster stand inside the campus. They agreed, and we put the first collection on display.

To my surprise, the posters started selling well.

As demand grew, I found printing partners in Hyderabad, produced more designs, and regularly restocked the university stationery store.

One of the most rewarding moments was walking through the hostel corridors and seeing my posters hanging on the walls of students' rooms. Knowing that something which started as a personal project had become part of so many people's spaces was an incredible feeling.

That small poster stand at Mahindra University became the beginning of what would eventually grow into hivlocity.

Then came the reality of running a business.

Every day meant checking stock levels, refining designs, packing orders, maintaining inventory sheets, and keeping track of sales. What started as a simple creative project quickly turned into a daily routine of discipline and hard work.

Managing the inventory reports was challenging, and preparing every order for delivery took even more effort. But with every poster packed and every sheet updated, we were building something bigger than we had imagined.

Below is a glimpse of the daily stock reports that kept everything running behind the scenes.

These were the days when hivlocity was finding its identity. Every challenge shaped our character, every struggle became part of our story, and every rupee we earned was reinvested to fuel the next stage of our growth.
